A bit about me...
Hello, I’m Emma – a creative mum, nature enthusiast, and artist based in Herefordshire, UK.
My brand, Mummy and Bear, was born from a deep love for wildlife, art, and my family. Along with my husband Ed and our daughter Layla, I create a life filled with creativity, fun, and a strong commitment to the environment.
My Journey as an Artist
I’ve always had a passion for art, and from a very young age, I was captivated by drawing – especially animals, nature, and the beauty of everyday life. Although my degree was in Fashion and Textiles, my heart led me to create pet portraits for 8 years, capturing the essence of beloved animals for families. But after having Layla in 2021, my artistic journey took an exciting new direction.
I fell in love with surface pattern design, a world I had only recently discovered. Since then, I’ve been creating nature-inspired designs that are calming, playful, and full of heart.
My focus now is on creating affordable, high-quality digital and physical products, including art prints, greeting cards, and posters, that make family spaces feel special and unique. From baby and children’s décor to fun and whimsical greeting cards, my work is deeply influenced by my love for the natural world and my passion for supporting wildlife conservation.
Nature and Family at the Heart of My Work
As a mum, I understand the importance of creating a space that feels nurturing and meaningful. Family walks in the British countryside, and my love for nature, have been huge inspirations for my designs. I aim to bring the beauty of nature into your home through my work – from hand-drawn animal sketches to playful designs with a touch of fun.
Whether it's a nursery wall art print, a playful greeting card, or a personalised poster, I want to create products that bring joy to both children and parents alike.
Every product I create is infused with love and a commitment to sustainability. I use eco-friendly materials whenever possible, and I’m proud to donate a portion of my sales to The Wildlife Trusts to support the conservation of our precious wildlife.

Family and Wildlife As a mum, I know how important it is to create a nurturing, beautiful space for your family. I also believe it’s vital to teach our children about nature and wildlife. That’s why a portion of every sale goes to the UK Wildlife Trust to support conservation efforts that are close to my heart.
